Two runners jogging together along a sunlit park path

From easy miles
to interval days.

Start with one of 16 ready-made sessions, including tempo runs, Yasso 800s, hills and long runs. Or build your own, from warm-up to cool-down.

Plan on iPhone.
Run on Apple Watch.

Build a session from warm-up, run, recovery and cool-down steps. Set a pace zone, a specific pace or a heart-rate zone for each effort.

Training paces that fit you

Your paces come from a recent race, your own runs or a level matched to your age. Your heart-rate zones line up with them.

See how the run went

Every run is saved to Apple Health and Fitness, with its route if you ran outdoors. On iPhone, scrub through pace, heart rate and elevation, and see your time in each heart-rate zone. Connect Strava and each run goes there too, with a lap for every step.

On the treadmill

You can run any session on a treadmill. Stand your iPhone on the console and it shows the current step, the speed to set and your heart rate in big type. Pause, skip and end are on the phone too, and the watch records the run as usual.
